Jewellery Care
These tips will ensure that the Jewellery that you bought from us will retain its shine and luster for a longer time.
For Gold, Silver and Bronze:
- Do not soak in water or harsh chemicals like perfume
- Remove jewellery during bath or before you retire to bed
- Keep in a dry environment preferably in a packaging or box
- For rings, do remove them when you wash your hands and put them on after you have dried them
For Wooden and Suede (leather) Materials:
- As wood and leather are natural materials, do not let them get in contact with water or harsh chemicals lest it moulds
- When wet, dry or sun them in a breezy environment
For semi-precious stones and crystals:
- These items are very fragile. Do not drop or knock them on hard surfaces
Turquoise: Keep away from heat and direct sunlight which will dry out and fade the gemstone. Keep in cool, dark place.
Quartz: Avoid rough handling as it is prone to fractures. Keep away from high temperatures.
Pearls: Avoid harsh cleaning fluids and protect from excessive heat and sunlight.
Citrine: Relatively durable but do still keep them in a cool and dark place.
Repairs Terms & Conditions (as of 1 June 2011)
First and foremost, thanks for having purchased an item(s) from By Invite Only™!
All items have been thoroughly checked for flaws and loose connections before being stocked at our various stockists. If unfortunately, your jewellery piece appears damaged, you will be qualified for a complimentary repair service if you meet the following terms and conditions.
All jewellery repairs will include:
- Pick-up from your respective stockist
- Replacement of missing or damaged spare parts like clasps, necklace extensions, jump rings … etc
- Drop-off to your respective stockist or shipping to your address via registered mail
Any other customer who does not qualify for complimentary repairs will still be able to fix their damaged jewellery with a $10 repairs charge that would include the above.
However, all customers will receive one complimentary length adjustment on bracelets that go too tight or loose. Just simply let your trusty retail assistants know your desired length and viola!
- Repairs are only available for By Invite Only™ (BIO™) items that were purchased in Singapore
- All items are qualified for a complimentary repair within 7 days from the date of purchase.
- All items after 7 days from the date of purchase will be charged with a SGD$10 cash repair fee that includes pick-up, repairs, replacement of spare parts and drop-off/shipping.
- Payment is to be attached with the item(s) to be dropped off at the respective stockists where item(s) are purchased.
- BIO™ will only repair items that have damaged or missing spare parts like clasps or broken chains.
- BIO™ will not be able to repair or replace broken pendents or center-pieces including crystals that often become damaged when hit on a hard surface or have been mishandled.
- BIO™ reserves the right to amend the above conditions at any time as the label sees fit without prior notification to all our customers.
IN A NUTSHELL, YOU QUALIFY FOR FREE REPAIRS IF:
- You bought BIO™ jewellery in Singapore
- Within 7 days
- And have never repaired this item(s) before within the time period
- And a spare part is missing or broken
